Election Day

From the New York Times, poems on Election Day.

Contributions from: John Ashbery, August Kleinzahler, Joshua Mehigan, Mary Jo Bang, and J.D. McClatchy.

They are a little grave in tone, but perhaps that is to be expected. The always cantankerous Kleinzahler (he who quite entertainingly dismissed Garrison Keillor's Good Poems here) is a hoot, though, and includes the line: "Us whom we've been waiting for..." in his piece.
